Prekindergarten February Newsletter
Dear Parents and Caregivers, February brings the exploration of Valentine’s Day; and learning all about Community Helpers. This month, we will have “Mystery Guests” from the community, such as the Boardman Township Road Department. The children will interview our classroom visitors and ask them about their job. Preschool February Newsletter
Dear Parents and Caregivers, The month of January brought us a lot of indoor fun! The children enjoyed making cheerio rings and filling orange peels with birdseed for our recycled Christmas tree to feed the birds. We also enjoyed the book The Mitten by Jan Brett. We painted with mittens and used gloves to see how many “animals” (animal crackers) we could fit into the glove. This helped with our math skills and charting the results was really fun for them. Toddler February Newsletter
Dear Families, January has come and gone! We had a very enjoyable month learning all about Arctic animals. We discovered how these animals stay warm in freezing temperatures by conducting our blubber experiment. We learned many intriguing facts about each animal and how they survive in the cold.
