Three-Year-Old May Newsletter

Dear Parents and Guardians

April Showers bring May Flowers. The sky is blue, the sun is warm, and we are all looking forward to summer but first we get to look forward to a busy May. In April we concentrated on developing math skills through patterning and rote counting to 31 and we will continue practicing math skills. This month we will focus on enhancing our writing center with the purchase of a new shelf and supplies. We will be developing skills through tracing numbers letters and the names of the children.

I have completed our class assessments. If anyone is interested in signing up for a conference please let me know I will be happy to meet with you to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you may have.

Reminder: Please keep safety in mind when choosing shoes for your children. Avoid flip flops or sandals. Please apply sunscreen to your child before they attend in school in the morning.

Important Dates: Thursday May 25 all of the classes will be participating in BIKE DAY and if it is not your child’s regular day please feel free to come and participate. More information to come.

Monday May 29th the center will be closed to observe Memorial Day Our last day of preschool will be May 31st. We will celebrate on May 30th and 31st With a Bubble Day
