Pre-Kindergarten December Newsletter
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for making our Food Drive a success. This outreach to our community is wonderful and I know that you have made it easier for many parents to feed their families.
Wednesday, December 6th children need to be there at 5:30 pm. We will meet inside the lobby of Building C. Tree lighting outside will be at 6:00pm. There will be crafts, hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa immediately following the tree lighting ceremony.
It’s already Christmas in our Pre-K classroom! The children are making ornaments and we have started practice for our holiday program. We have a busy month ahead of us discussing: “Holiday Happiness,” Christmas Kindness,” and Reindeer.” We will be reading Elf in the Shelf; A Christmas Tradition. The kindness elf will be visiting our classroom. The students will name him and try to find where he is hidden each day! We will continue counting 1-20, recognizing numbers 6 & 7, the color green, and letters C and J.
We will be having our holiday party on Wednesday, Dec. 20nd. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the parent bulletin board outside the classroom door. There will be a visit from Santa. If you would like to purchase a picture of your child with Santa, the cost is $2.00.
We follow the Boardman Local Schools. If Boardman is closed due to bad weather, so are we.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
