Tiny Twos April Newsletter

April Newsletter

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Spring has officially sprung! We are looking forward to getting outside as much as possible as the weather starts to warm. Please remember to dress your child accordingly. We may need boots also!

We have had so much fun celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, discovering rainbows, practicing our colors and having fun with nursery rhymes! A big “Thank you” to the parents that provided supplies and helped us with our party.

We will continue to explore a new season of Spring! April showers (not snow showers) bring May flowers, right!

Spring brings so much life, and sometimes strange weather! A few of the topics the children have showed interest in are rain, clouds, bugs, flowers and more!

One of our all time favorite stories that we will read is Looks like spilt milk by Charles Shaw as we explore clouds and their different shapes. Bugs, bugs how do they help us? The children will discover why we need bugs and we will be creating our very own paper bugs. Who doesn’t love flowers? Let’s explore flowers and what they need to grow and their many colors. Where is the stem and where are the petals? Planting flowers will be so much fun!
