Pre-Kindergarten March Newsletter

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Let’s welcome March with some warm thoughts of spring time. In February, we discussed how to keep our bodies and teeth healthy!! The children enjoyed having the community visitors, such as the Boardman Road Department inform us on how they take care of our neighborhoods.

March will be full of new experiences and activities. We will begin the month by celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss. The students will make green eggs and ham after reading the book “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss.

We will also be waiting for the sly leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day by setting our homemade trap. We will be taking a closer look at Spring and the change in weather for science. In math, we will continue with number counting to 30, recognition to 10, measurement and estimation.

Letters: Z, K Shape: Diamond and Shamrock

♣ Please remember tennis shoes and play clothes as we have Gymsters ($10 monthly) every Wednesday and as the weather warms we will play outside.

Be sure to check out our Facebook page and “like” us. We love to share pictures of fun things we are doing and post important information such as cancellations or party dates. You can even go to our website and see our newsletters. www.hitchcockwoodsctr.com
